Note: Remember to read to the end of an important update for Nerd Fitness Coaching!
In the last 8 years, we have held thousands of conversations with clients, rebels and members of the Community.
We conducted polls, read answers and listen carefully to what people are fighting.
Again and again, the variations of three statements continue to appear.
Each of them reveals a major trap in which I see that people fall and I want to help you avoid making the same mistakes!
Falling: Too restrictive plans that leave you burned
Needs: Clarity that meets your life
The people I talk to feel overwhelmed and overwhelmed.
They already have a tone on their plate with work, family and other responsibilities.
No wonder there is a strong desire for someone to simply simplify things!
But it pulls away when it leads to plans that are not suitable for your life.
Exercises that are not the right level, restrictive eating plans and schedules that suggest you have all the time and energy in the world, just leave burned and in a square.
We have learned to emphasize fit and flexibility firstS
This way you get clarity in the next steps, while making sure there is enough flexibility to make it right for you. Не
Falling: jumping from one program to the next
Needs: multiple levels of feedback with contours
Change is difficult.
And it is even more difficult if there is a feeling that you are rotating your wheels and you don’t go anywhere! I bet many of us have started a new workout or a new eating program just to get on the scale or look in the mirror and feel missed and seem to happen.
This can lead to a jumping program – jumping from one thing to another so quickly that it is difficult to evaluate their effectiveness.
Fitness is like investing: it takes time to the biggest return!
So here’s how we do this: We track both Efforts and results.
The victories in sequence are early form of progress. They are the first step in evaluating whether a program is right for you.
The victories in the results come later, but they are still important to take into account when evaluating any changes that need to be made.
Some tools we love to achieve each of them:
The presence of feedback contours in each of these areas makes it easier to remain confident and patient. 🙌
Falling: Thinking of everything or nothing
Need: Systems that maintain consistency
This is the big one. Life becomes messy. People get sick, work runs late, chaos happens.
It is easy to tear down from the course and blame ourselves and the lack of motivation that we cannot see things.
This leads to a lot of thinking about everything or nothing.
Either we are all in it (and things are going great!), Or we are breaking off the course and we are struggling to go back.
Here’s how to avoid this trap:
The more you practice to implement these systems, the easier it will be to maintain inertia. 💪
When you look at your own plan, ask yourself:
1. Gives me clarity that actually matches my life?
2. Do I have feedback contours to track the effort and Results?
3. Do I have systems to help me stick to it when life is messing out?
If yes … great! You are set for success.
If not … without worry. Start with any person who feels most famous and grease it first.
And if you want to help apply these strategies, now it’s a great time to join Nerd Fitness Coaching!
