Air India trims International Schedule for Security Inspection, Middle Eastern Airspace Problems

Air India has announced a temporary decline in its international flight operations, referring to the improved aircraft safety protocol and extended air space closures in the Middle East. Changes valid on June 21, at least 15 July, seek to improve schedule stability and minimize last -minute disruption.

Three routes are interrupted during this time: Delhi-Nairobi (AI961/962), Gatwick (AI169/170) and GOA (MOPA) Gatwick (AI145/146). In addition, many routes of North America and Europeans have reduced air density.

In North America, key changes include:

• Delhi-Toronto: Reduced 7 flights per week from 13
• Delhi-Vancouver: 5 out of 7 out of 7
• Delhi-San Francisco: Cut to 7 out of 10
• Delhi-Chicago: Reduced to 3 out of 7
• Delhi-Washington dulles: cut to 3 out of 5

In Europe:

• Delhi-London Heathrow: Reduced 22 flights per week from 24
• Bengaluru-London Heathrow: Cut to 6 out of 7
• Amritsar/Delhi-Birmingham: Simplified to 2 from 3
• Delhi-Paris: Now 12 flights weekly out of 14
• Delhi-Milan: down to 4 out of 7
• Delhi-Copenhagen: Reduced to 3 5
• Delhi-Venna and Delhi-Amsterdam: Slightly cut

The reductions also apply to the routes of Australia and Far East, including cuts in Delhi-Melbourne, Delhi-Sydney, Delhi-Toky (Haneda) and Delhi-Soul (Incheon).

Air India is reaching out to the affected passengers, offering alternative flight options, free schedules, or full refunds. Updated schedules are available on the airline website, application and connection centers. The airline strengthened its commitment to safety and expressed its intention to continue the full service as soon as the circumstances permit.
