Real Madrid manager Alvaro Arbeloa admitted he felt much more relaxed after his side secured a dramatic late win over Celta Vigo.
The match looked set to end in a draw before Federico Valverde struck deep into stoppage time to give Madrid a decisive victory that keeps them firmly in the title race.
Without the late goal, league leaders Barcelona could get away with six points.
Reflecting on the performance, Arbeloa offered a straightforward explanation for his team’s approach.

« For me it’s very important because it changes the way you approach the game on Wednesday and it dictates what kind of game we want to play, » he said.
« This is Real Madrid: fight to the end, battle. Character. Hopefully this is a turning point and everything will go much better from here on out.
« There’s still a long way to go: 33 points. At this stage, it’s almost as if the season hasn’t even started. Now everyone has so much at stake and every game is a battle. »
