Astro Bot wins Game of the Year | Dice awards

Astro Bot from Team Asobi has won five major DICE Awards, including Game of the Year.

The game, which Sony said last night sold 1.5 million copies, also won awards for exceptional animation achievements, exceptional technical achievements, family game of the year, exceptional achievements in the design of the game.

Solo Game Developer Locinalnk also won three major awards in the evening, including the Strategy/Simulation Play Awards, exceptional achievements for independent game and mobile game of the year for the Roguelike deck game, Balatro (which sold five million copies) S

A star sum, composed of members of the interactive entertainment industry, gathered at Aria Resort & Casino for the 28th annual dice (which the group of Dice Dice) awards.

Host the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS), the awards celebrated the developers and studios that have developed the most innovative video games of the year. The nominees and finalists are determined by their 30,000+ membership composed by professionals in the industry. The awards were presented in 23 categories celebrating achievements in technology, art, animation, history and audio.

Swedish Game Developer Arrowhead Game Studios was also highly praised by members of the Academy for their work on Helldivers 2 (which sold 12 million copies) by taking four awards, including exceptional achievements in the original music composition, exceptional audio design, exte of the year and online game of the year.

Machinegames received three awards for Indiana Jones and the Big Circle, taking home awards for exceptional character achievements, exceptional achievements in the history of history and adventures of the year.

Gamescience was awarded outstanding achievements in the artistic guide for Black Myth: Wukong, while Atlus’ Studio Zero took a home role play of the year for the metaphor: refantzio.

Not only did the night celebrate games, it also celebrated two incredible leaders in the industry. Don James, the leader and cornerstone of the Nintendo of America’s Legacy, received the award for life’s achievement in his playing industry, from his fundamental work at Nintendo to his passions at the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Aias also honored Ted Price, president and founder of Insomniac Games, with the Award of the Hall of Fame to his contribution to the development of the game, including leading Insomniac games for three decades and has advocated the first rights of video game creators.

On February 13, the Aria Resort & Casino was attended by games of games and professionals in the industry around the world, the 28th annual DICE awards ceremony. The event was live from the media partner IGN and hosted the returning co-host Greg Miller of something fun and Stella Chung, bringing together the community of games for the evening of celebration.
