Confident Wiegman Players of England are well prepared for sinking Swiss temperatures

England manager Sarina Wigman insists that her players are well prepared to raise temperatures in Switzerland as the Lions begin defense at the title of the European Women’s European Championships this weekend.

England takes France in Zurich on Saturday with temperatures that will be in the high 20 years, as Wigman’s country seems to keep the trophy they raised to Wembley in 2022.

Prior to the clash with France, which was semi -finalists three years ago, Wigman also revealed that he did not plan to make additional replacements because of the warm weather.

She added: « When we do it, we do it because we need to change the game or to encourage someone who has given everything that needs to come out, I will not think to manage the heat at this point.

« After this game, we recover and then gather as a team with the medical, technical, how everyone goes out of this game and then moving forward to the next game against the Netherlands. »

Lionssses play France in the Group D opening on Saturday, with the match starting at 8:00 pm (United Kingdom time).
