France and Portugal hit four while Spain draws with Italy

The European Summer Championships under 21 did not disappoint again on Tuesday, with goals flying throughout the tournament.

France and Portugal were both in action and in the largest form of the goal scorer, for the disappointment of their opponents.

Spain faced Italy in a decisive group, as Slovakia also took over Romania.

France 4-1 Poland

France gave a brilliant performance to defeat Poland 4-1, with a bracket from Djaoui Cisse and a late goal by Matisse, Sblyn, to give up a successful night for the French.

France struck early through Nathan Zez, who headed to the home at the 18th minute to put his side on the way to a knockout qualification.

Just a minute later, Cisse doubled the lead with a stunning long-range blow to the upper corner. He repeated the feat in the 29th minute, this time with his left leg, inserting a low shot into the lower corner to make 3-0.

Poland had a goal expelled from VAR at the beginning of the second half when Marius Fornalik was tried for offside. Finally, they pulled back in the 61st minute through Ariel Moir’s header from the angle, giving visitors a brief hope.

However, the dominance of France continued, with Matisse Plin resting the pillow with three goals in the 82nd minute, pointing at close range after the well-placed corner of Noah Edzum.

Georgia 0-4 Portugal

Portugal gave way to a comfortable 4-0 victory over ten Georgia, heading Group C before France.

The turning point came only five minutes when Georgia’s defender Lasha Odisharia was sent after a Var review of Flavio Nazinho’s reckless foul. From that moment on, Portugal controls the pace and territory.

The breakthrough arrived in the 24th minute. Geovany Quenda found Rodrigo Pinchairo in space, and the right back tossed a low shot from a tight angle to give Portugal a well -deserved lead.

Visitors dominated the possession by the end of the half, with the chances of Tiago Tomash and Paulo Bernardo, although they failed to extend their advantage before the break.

Portugal’s pressure recounted again after the time sign. Gustavo SA made an immediate effect on the bench by setting the Quenda for a simple close -range finish.

Rodrigo Gomez added one -third in the 87th minute, heading home after an angle after hitting the publication just for a moment earlier. The route was completed in stopping the time when SA won the penalty after it was downloaded in the box. Anrique Araujo stepped down and pulled out the point kick.

Spain 1-1 Italy

Spain and Italy played a fun draw 1-1 in showing many young talents.

After aimless first half, the game comes to life after the break. Spain struck first in the 53rd minute through Hesus Rodriguez, who ended from the center of the box after a quick break, led by Raal Moro. The goal gave Spain inertia, but Italy answered well.

Just six minutes later, Nicolo was pushed for visitors with a drawn up at the bottom corner after being full of Daniele Ghillardi. It was a well-deserved equalization after Italy created several half-shans earlier in the game, with Michael Kayode and Jacopo Fazini approaching.

Both teams have made noise of replacements in the last 20 minutes, as the coaches seemed to try their depth. Spanish Roberto Fernandez and Pablo Torre impressed from the bench, while Italy Cesid Casade and Mateo Ruggie added steel to the midfield.

The late efforts from the pisili and Ricardo Turicia almost won it for Italy, but Spanish goalkeeper Pablo Kunn did well to maintain the level of results and send his country across the top.

Romania 1-2 Slovakia

Slovakia went past Romania with a 2-1 victory in Group A.

Slovakia took the lead early, interrupting the impasse in the 11th minute, when Adam Obert was attacked by the delivery of a set from Tomash Rigo to a close-range slot.

Romania is struggling to react, and Slovakia almost doubled its lead through many chances of Suslov and Adrian Kaplarik, but goalkeeper Otto Hindrich kept the hosts in the game with several key saves.

After the break, Slovakia continued to squeeze and was rewarded in the 57th minute, when Slov was fired into a superb left foot from a distance, again aided by the influential Rigo.

Romania only responded ten minutes later when Umit Akdag came home a powerful finish from an angle to reduce the deficit reduction.

Despite the late pressure and noise from angles, Romania could not find the equalizer. Louis Muntianu approached the time to stop the weather, dragging a shot exactly wide. Matei Ilie and Akdag also had a promising chance, but no one is good enough to break through.
