Gran Turismo 7’s Power Pack DLC unlocks a 24-hour race on December 4th

Sony and Polyphony Digital are rolling out a huge update for the Gran Turismo 7 on December 4 as a paid add-on. The Power Pack DLC for PlayStation 5 will unlock 50 new races across 20 themed categories, including 24-hour endurance races that Le Mans fans can sink their teeth into. In previous games, endurance events did take 24 hours to complete, although you can pause and possibly save mid-race, allowing you to pick up where you left off. You can also experience full racing seasons, from training for them to qualifying for the main events.

The DLC also includes access to Gran Turismo Sophy 3.0, which Sony says will provide « realistic AI behavior » and enable « intense tail-to-nose battles that push your limits. » Sophy 2.0 was released as an update in 2023, offering you « a stimulating opponent that can accelerate and take (your) techniques and creativity to the next level. » Finally, the DLC will give you 5 million in-game credits. The companies have not yet revealed how much the DLC for the Power Pack will cost, but it will be available to download from the PlayStation Store.
