Newcastle Mitchell Sports Director to leave

Mitchell said: « I would like to thank everyone in Newcastle United for their support in the last year, including Eddie How, Becky Langley, players, employees, owners and fans.

« It was an honor for me to be part of the club and to work with some amazing people.

Newcastle United may announce that sports director Paul Mitchell will leave the club by mutual agreement at the end of June 2025.

Paul leaves with the best wishes of the club and the board would like to express his sincere thanks to him for his professionalism and diligent service.

Newcastle had a wonderful season on the pitch, winning the Carabao Cup and provided the Champions League football on the last day of the campaign.
