Real Madrid detained the late return of Borussia Dortmund to provide a dramatic 3-2 victory in a pulsating meeting in the club’s World Cup.
Goals from Gonzalo Garcia, Fran Garcia and Kylian Mbape were enough for the hosts, despite the late resumption of visitors, with strikes from Maximilian Beyer and Seru Girai.
The game was on Madrid from the beginning, with the two sides showing an attacking intention. Dortmund threatened early through Julian Brand and Serhow Girai, but it was Real Madrid that hit the first.
In the 10th minute, young striker Gonzalo Garcia opened the score with a drawn up in the lower corner after a well-weighed cross from Arda Guler.
Just ten minutes later, Fran Garcia doubled Madrid’s lead, throwing a loose ball into the box to shoot home with his left foot.
The 2-0 pillow gave the Xabi Alonso side more confidence, and they dominated the possession of great spells from the first half. Vinitsy Jr. and Jude Belingham approached the extension of the lead before the interval, while Dortmund was largely limited to long -distance efforts.

Dortmund made some tactical changes at the break, introducing Maximilian Beyer, Felix Nomecha and Yang Kuto, hoping to ignite a return.
In particular, Beier made an instant impact, forcing saving from Thibaut Courtois at the beginning of the second half. Madrid, however, remained dangerous to the counter, and Luka Modric and Kilian Mbape – introduced in the 67th minute – tested Gregor Cobel with stings.
The drama really started to stop time. In the 90th minute, Dortmund’s persistence finally paid off when Beier fired past a court, giving visitors a rescue line.
But their hopes were flooded almost immediately. Just a minute later, Arda Guler delivered a shiny cross that Mbappe threw himself, hitting a fairy tale kick on a bicycle in the lower corner.
However, the match had another turn. In the 96th minute of the replaceable Dean Huissen, a straight red card for a foul on the guitar inside the box was shown, giving way to the process.
The Dortmund striker is activated and sent stains in the upper left corner, making it 3-2 and putting frenetic last few minutes.
With Madrid down to ten men, Dortmund pushed forward in search of an equalizer. Marcel Sabicer had a golden opportunity deep at extra time, but Kratoa again turned out to be the difference by diving low on the left to protect the midfielder’s efforts and keep the victory.
