The Premier League the leaders aim for a ninth straight win in all competitions when Arsenal visit Burnley on Saturday.

Gabriel Martinelli is out for Arsenal with the injury the Brazil international picked up in Wednesday’s 2-0 EFL Cup last-16 win at home to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Defender William Saliba was a doubt after coming off at half-time against Palace, and midfielder Martin Odegaard and strikers Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are out with knee injuries, although manager Mikel Arteta says « some of » his suspended players could return « quite soon ».
