Tesla’s most affordable cyberook is scrapped after a huge five months

The rear drive of Tesla Cybertruck’s drive lasted about five months before being uncereted by online sales. The long-distance model was the most affordable Cybertruck option with its starting price of $ 69,990, but visitors to the Tesla online configurator can now only choose between the all-wheel drive model, which starts at $ 79,990 and a cyberpres, which lasts at least $ 114,990.

Tesla launched a long -distance version of The Cybertruck in April, which reached $ 10,000 more than what was initially expected. Along with increased price labels, Tesla has removed several features, including the Power Tonneau lid, adaptive suspension, rear -line touch screen, rear light strip and contacts in the truck bed. The RWD version is also available with less towing power, a lower useful load capacity and only one engine. Although unrelated, the federal tax credit for EV buyers in the United States ends at the end of the month, making the purchase of a long -distance model even less than a deal.

Tesla has officially not offered any explanation for the removal of the long distance option from its website, but it can be due to low Cybertruck sales as a whole. According to a COX Automotive report, the Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader mother, Tesla sold only 4 306 cyberas in the second quarter of the year, which is more than 50 percent decline in sales in the same period last year.
