The new Eagleeye Mr.

In the latest offer of a Silicon Valley Defense Company to uphold its own decision on the army’s mixed reality, on Monday, they revealed Anduril Industries’ Eagleeye, which seeks to turn soldiers into augmented fighters.

The launch is remarkable, given that the initiative is led by Anduri’s co -founder Palmer Luki, who previously launched the pioneer VR company Oculus, which was acquired by Meta.

Anduril describes Eagleeye as a modular « family family » built on his grate software that puts command and control tools, sensory emissions and AI directly into the soldier’s field of view.

The company claims that the system can integrate live video emissions; It has rear and side sensors to warn threat operators; And he can track real -time teammates. Eagleeye variants include helmet, visor and glasses.

The launch comes when the US army seems to expand its pool from suppliers to mixed reality facilities. It uses the integrated Microsoft Visual Increase System (IVAS), a $ 22 billion program awarded in 2018, but after years of editions, the army submitted control of the Anduril Treaty this February.

In September, Anduril won an award of $ 159 million to prototype a new mixed reality system for soldiers, some of the broader efforts of commanding the mission worked on the soldier. Anduril said the award was the « biggest such effort » for the equipment of « every soldier with superhuman perception and decision-making opportunities ».

Earlier this year, Anduril also announced a partnership with Meta to develop long -term reality devices (XR) for the military, marking an unexpected gathering between Luke and his former employer.

« I’m glad I work with Meta again, » Luki said in a blog post. « My mission has long been to turn fighters into technoms, and the products we build with meta do just that. »

Eagleeye has a long history: the concept first appeared in the first Anduril deck project before investors persuade the start -up team to focus on software like Lattice.

« Going to fingers to the fifth with Microsoft and Magic Leap would demoralize the windmill led by magical thinking, » Luki said in an X publication in February. « Everything is different now. The world is ready, as is Anduril. »
