The Trump Administration has sent a letter to some major EU companies, warning them to comply with an assignment that prohibits diversity, equity and inclusion programs.
The letter sent by the American Paris Embassy and the other around the EU said that Donald TrumpAccording to three people who are familiar with the United States, companies outside the United States were subject to companies outside the United States if they were a supplier or service provider to the US Board.
The embassies also sent a questionnaire that ordered companies to prove their compliance. The document that the Financial Times has seen is called « Certification of compliance with the law of the federal discrimination ». »
The document stated: « The contractors of the state institution must ensure that they have no programs that violate the applicable non -discrimination laws and agree that such certification is essential for the purposes of the State payment decision and therefore the law on false claims is subject to the law. »
The letter was also sent by US diplomats in the Eastern EU and Belgium, people said.
Documents appear to indicate that Trump’s administration expands against dei after starting to foreign companies US media groups like Disney.
