‘US may attack Iran on February 28’: Astrologer’s viral forecast trends after Israeli strike

Israel started prevention military strike against Iran on February 28, codenamed Operation Lion’s Roar, targeting key strategic and military installations across the country. The escalation has sparked regional tensions, civil panic and a political storm online – where an astrologer’s earlier prediction of the date of the attack has gone viral.

The prediction goes viral

Astrologer Sumit Bajaj had posted on February 16, « USA MAY ATTACK IRAN AS SOON AS FEBRUARY 28, 2026. LARGE WAR. »

On February 28th, shortly after reports of the attack surfaced, he continued: « IT’S NOW FEBRUARY 28TH AND 🚨 WITH: ISRAEL LAUNCHED PRE-LIMINARY STRIKES AGAINST IRAN. »

The posts quickly gained traction on social media, with users highlighting the specific date, which was mentioned nearly two weeks earlier.

What Israel is targeting

According to initial reports, Israel struck strategic locations, including missile launchers, nuclear infrastructure and suspected military targets. Explosions have been reported in several cities, including the capital and central Iran.

Reuters reported long lines at gas stations in Tehran as residents scrambled to leave, fearing further increases. An unnamed Iranian official told the news agency that several ministries in southern Tehran were targeted.

Iran has closed its airspace until further notice, its civil aviation authority said.

Trump announces US mission

In response to the events, the US president said the US military had launched « major combat operations » in Iran and accused the country of rebuilding its nuclear program.

In a video posted on Truth Social, Trump addressed Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and warned: « You will be treated fairly with full immunity or face certain death. »

He also accused Iran of developing long-range missiles that threaten the United States and its allies and vowed that the United States would « destroy their missile industry » and « destroy their navy. »
