Alex Scott wants to “repeat” 2023. Win lions before Spain’s quarterfinals

U21 midfielder Alex Scott called on his teammates to « repeat the repetition of what the boys did two years ago » before the quarter -finals of the Euro U21 of three lions with Spain on Saturday.

The TRNAVA game will be a repetition of the final in 2023-who England won 1-0 after the three lions progressed as runners-up of Group B after defeating rivals in Germany on Wednesday night.

« We are disappointed with the result, » Scott told Channel 4 after the match. « We didn’t start well enough and it was in the end.

« Fortunately, we are ranked second, so this is positive and we will look to enter the quarterfinals now. »

Asked how important his goal is to show an attitude about I never say, the 21-year-old Bournemouth player said: « Yes (it was) huge. I think the second half changed completely.

« We changed the shape and it released Macca as number 10. We have definitely improved and this is something we can build on now, entering the quarterfinals. »

Despite the progression to the stages of knockout, the young lions of Karsley were far from the clinical in front of the goal in their initial three games.
