Liverpool striker Diogo Jota was killed in a car accident in Spain.
The Portuguese International, which was 28, was in Lamborghini, who left the road in the northwestern province of Zamora overnight.
He was traveling with his brother Andre Silva, a 25-year-old Penafiel player who was also killed.

Jota married two weeks ago to a long -term partner Rute Cardoso. They have three children.
In a joint post on Instagram after the ceremony, they wrote: « June 22, 2025 Yes, forever. »
Liverpool signed Jota from Ulvs in 2020, and he immediately became a key member of the team, helping the Merseysiders for the FA Cup title in 2022. They also finished runners -up in the EFL and the Champions League this season.
After leaving Jurgen Klop and Arne Slot’s arrival as a manager, Liverpool won the Premier League title last season, with Jota scored nine goals in 37 appearances.
Jota began at Pacos de Ferreira, where his shape won his move to Atletico Madrid. He struggled to impress in the Spanish capital and was relaxed in Porto in his home country, and then on Wolves in 2017.
