For today’s post, I wanted to share this skincare favorite again!! I’m always interested in trying out new skincare brands, and when I heard about this at the Biohacking conference, I was intrigued.
OneSkin is a brand that draws attention for its science-based approach to skin care, especially in the fight against aging. So today I wanted to talk about what OneSkin is all about, highlight some of their best products, discuss costs, and weigh the pros and cons.

What is OneSkin?

I was able to hear founder Carolina Oilveira speak at the biohacking conference and she was amazing! She talked about healthy skin habits and how the OneSkin technology works. They use what they call OS-01, which is a new peptide that targets senescent cells. Dr. Cabral calls these types of cells « zombie cells » because they cause oxidation, which in turn leads to inflammation and is accelerated again. If you’ve been curious about peptides, this is a nice update.

Here are some of my favorite products:
1. OS-01 Person
The flagship product, OS-01 Person, is a topical supplement designed to improve the health and appearance of the skin. It contains the proprietary peptide OS-01, which targets senescent cells, which are cells that contribute to aging and inflammation. My thoughts:
I bought a few products while we were at the Biohacking conference, including an eye cream, body lotion, and an SPF tinted facial moisturizer. Initially, I noticed that the products felt thinner in texture. They are not greasy at all and also absorb into the skin instantly. I like this because my skin already tends to be on the oily side, but I also like thick, luxurious, super moisturizing products. It’s like my skin instantly drinks up the product, meaning it absorbs quickly.
The bottles are a bit more expensive, but I think it’s worth it, especially if it improves skin texture. I originally spent about $260 on the three products and they lasted 3 months.
I think so tinted SPF is 100,000% worth it. – this is the best Beautycounter dew skin substitute I’ve tried and I love this one even more!

Overall, I think OneSkin is an amazing product and they offer science-backed products aimed at reducing the biological age of the skin. I think it’s definitely worth checking out or trying some samples to see if it’s right for you! The travel kits are at a lower price so you can try them out and see if you like them.
