Manchester United vs Tottenham Preview
Michael Carrick’s in-form United host Tottenham as they look to continue their push for a top-four finish on Saturday.
Carrick has done wonders since taking charge on a temporary basis, with United looking a lot more like themselves as Spurs head into the weekend in 14th place without a win in their last six in the league.
However, Tottenham are unbeaten in their last eight meetings with Manchester United in all competitions and if they can find the form they have consistently shown in the Champions League on Saturday, then they have every chance of extending that record.
For Carrick and United, this is their fourth straight win in the programme. The Red Devils last won four in a row in February 2024 under Erik ten Haag, while they last went on a longer unbeaten run in February 2022 (eight under Ralf Rangnick).
Team News Man United vs Tottenham
United are without defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Patrick Dorgu, while Mason Mount is a perennial doubt and has a knock from training.
Benjamin Sesko is hoping to start after his dramatic late win against Fulham.
Spurs are still without a host of strikers but have been boosted by Dominic Solanke’s return to form in recent weeks.
Key defender Mickey van de Ven could also return.
