Glenn Hoddle has offered to team up with Robbie Keane in a management team boasting youth and experience in a bid to lead Tottenham away from the bottom of the Premier League table if Igor Tudor is sacked.
Tudor was in charge for just three games after being appointed interim boss of the ailing north London club following the sacking of Thomas Frank last month.
All three ended in defeat and last night’s disastrous 3-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace was on offer. a result that left them a point above the relegation zonehas already got the Spurs hierarchy thinking about alternatives.

Hoddle is a Spurs legend, having made over 350 appearances for the club as a player and stint as manager between 2001 and 2003.
The 68-year-old believes a partnership with former Spurs striker Keane – who currently manages Hungarian club Ferencvaros – would work perfectly.
Hoddle told the Could It Be Magic podcast: “Robbie is doing great as a young manager, but to have someone with experience like me… it would be a good formula in many ways.
“I think it’s a shrewd move, whether it was me or someone with experience with him, because the question would be, is Rob ready to take on that kind of work now?
« Probably, even though I say I started my first managerial job, I was, what, 34? So very, very young. So you have to make that leap at some stage. And you learn on the job, but you can learn on the job and have some experience around you. Looking back, I could have handled it.
« I brought Robbie to Tottenham, you know, and he’s done fantastic. »

Here’s how choose ranks the five most likely teams to be relegated after Tottenham’s latest defeat.
| A team | Probability of relegation |
| Wolves | 99.91% |
| Burnley | 99.51% |
| West Ham | 49.94% |
| Nottingham Forest | 28.27% |
| Tottenham | 13.94% |
Defeat by Palace was another humbling failure for Tottenham.
Although Dominic Solanke put them ahead, the contest turned when Mickey van de Ven was sent off four minutes later for pulling down Ismaila Sarr, who converted the resulting 40th-minute penalty.
Jørgen Strand Larsen and Sarr then tapped in from Adam Wharton’s passes in first-half stoppage time to consign Spurs to a ninth loss in their last 14 home league games as Palace climbed to 13th.
« We tried and I saw different things in the second half, » Tudor told TNT Sports.
« After this game, I believe even more than before. Maybe it sounds strange, but I saw something in the team – even now, in the dressing room.
« I saw good energy, some (desire), some passion. We have to stop talking about pressure – that’s not the topic to talk about. I’m not going to talk about pressure anymore. »
The spurs are in Champions League next action from 1/8, followed by a trip to Liverpool on March 15 and away to Nottingham Forest on March 22, which looks a must-win fixture.
