Liverpool and Chelsea have confirmed their starting squads for their Premier League clash at Anfield on Saturday.

The Reds are on course to secure Champions League qualification and are aiming for a third straight home win in the top flight despite losing 3-2 at Manchester United on Sunday.

Chelsea are in danger of missing out on European football entirely next season, starting three points behind seventh-placed Brentford with three games remaining.

Levi Colville returns to Chelsea starting line-up after a serious knee injury and fellow defender Reece James returns to the bench.

Centre-back Colville is one of five new faces in the visitors’ squad following their 3-1 loss at home to Nottingham Forest on Monday, with Philipp Jorgensen, Wesley Fofana Jorel Hato and Andrej Santos also coming in.

Tosin Adarabio, Trevo Chalobah and Romeo Lavia move to the bench, while Jesse Derry and Robert Sanchez drop out with head injuries.

Alejandro Garnacho and Pedro Neto are out with knocks. Willian Estevao is out for the rest of the season and Jamie Gittens has a hamstring injury.
