Manchester City completed the domestic double with a 1-0 win Chelsea at Wembley Stadium, lifting the FA Cup thanks to Antoine Semenho’s brilliant second-half finish.

The decisive moment came in the 72nd minute. Haaland combined well with Bernardo Silva in the box before laying a pass to Semenho, who produced an inventive back-heel finish into the bottom corner.

Chelsea almost responded immediately when Enzo Fernandez volleyed home from close range following Levi Colville’s long-range cross.

Later opportunities also went begging for Liam Delap, whose late header went just over the bar, while City substitute Ryan Cherky was denied by an excellent point-blank save from Sanchez.

Ultimately, it was City’s day, with the club now looking to catch Arsenal in the final week of the Premier League season and complete another Treble.
