Trump launched his pursuit of Reagan Star Wars on January 27, when he issued an executive order calling for the creation of a next -generation missile defense shield.

« President Ronald Reagan seeks to build effective protection against nuclear attacks, and although this program leads to many technological achievements, it was canceled before its purpose can be implemented, » the executive order said.
