Artetta is disappointed with the lack of consistency like Arsenal held by Crystal Palace

Michel Arteta mourned the lack of consistency on his side, as Arsenal was twice leading, but was tied two times in a draw 2-2 with Crystal Palace in the Emirates on Wednesday.

And although the result is likely to have a little attitude to the respective Arsenal and Palace campaigns, the chief of the artilleryrs was no less dissatisfied with the display of his team.

« We are disappointed with the result and the presentation. We did not find enough consistency in our actions to win the right to dominate the game completely, » Arteta said.

« We started giving the balls of balls and put the standards in certain defensive habits.

« It’s part of football and it cost us two points. »

Asked if his players could be forgiven for examining the upcoming clash with PSG, Arteta remained honest in his response.

« No, because we need the consistency in every race we play in order to be best.

Talking about the need for his team to rule out individual mistakes before what he called the « most important game of the season » against PSG, Arteta added: « Yes for sure. It will cost you points. But they (mistakes) are part of football. It’s harmful, but I think we have to accept that when we play, these things can happen.

« Now we have to recover, to restore the energy and to focus completely on this game. »
