I will be doing my Tierra Bella Club Tour on April 12th. I’m only doing the 30 mile route, but I’ll be riding to the start in Gilroy, which is 12.6 miles, so just over 55 miles (88 km) in total. This is part of my stretch as my long rides were around 30 miles (48 km) max. So lately I’ve been facing my long rides to get ready. I’m looking forward to the tour, haven’t ridden it in ages, usually can’t because I’m volunteering for it. But this year I volunteered to mark the route, which is the day before, so I’ll be free for the tour. With my ruptured heart valve, I’m somewhat limited at higher intensities like sprints or big climbs, but I tolerate long easy rides well.
