Anthony Joshua says his « goal is to conquer the universe » as he prepares for his final comeback fight on Saturday.

The behemoth known as AJ will take on Christian Prenga with almost all of the focus on a potential long-awaited marriage between the heavyweights boxing next icon and another Brit Tyson Fury.

« But first we must conquer Earth, » warned the Londoner. « I’m strong and ready for the challenge, one million percent. »

The event will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Although Joshua has fought in the country four times, the 36-year-old has only competed once in Jeddah.

He then lost by split decision to Alexander Usyk in August 2022, marking his second consecutive loss to the unbeaten Ukrainian following his unanimous defeat at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last September.

Anthony Joshua’s next fight: Tyson Fury awaits

Joshua dismissed questions about fellow former world champion Fury but is expected to meet the Mancunian later this year if both fighters win this week.

Fury, 37, faces Mariusz Wach, 46, in Thailand on Friday, with reports suggesting the fighter known as the ‘Gypsy King’ will then travel to Jeddah to watch Joshua.

« We don’t want to talk about Tyson Fury, » Joshua said, stressing his need for « focus » on knockout artist Prenga, an Albanian who is yet to face a fighter of Joshua’s pedigree.

« Sincerely, I’ve done all the media I can about what the future holds. Let’s focus on work. »
